The owl is my favourite bird so this was an easy choice for me. The distinctive markings and colours of the plumage, contrasted by the Barn owls brilliant white face are what make it so attractive.
Painted on A4 300gsm quality paper using acrylic paint to create the depth of colour in the owl and charcoal to give the dark night backdrop.
